Ingredients
1 onion
1 1/2 dl red wine
1 dl Dansukker Dark Muscovado Sugar
100 ml water
2 tbsp dark beef stock
1 bay leaf
1-2 sprigs of thyme
50 g dark chocolate, 70% cocoa solids
1-2 tsp potato starch
Salt, pepper
Instructions
Fry the onion in the vegetable fat in a saucepan. Add the wine, sugar, water, stock and herbs; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Add the chocolate and stir until it melts. Thicken the sauce with potato starch mixed with a little water. Taste and add more salt and pepper if necessary. Strain the gravy into a serving boat.
